Modules, quotes to the MM and treasure

I'm running a module (the first part of Paizo's The Stone Giant Fortress). They send me to the MM to a particular monster entry (Stone Giant in my case). There it reads that the monster has treasure: normal. The module doesn't say anything about treasure for that encounter. Is it implied that I should give appropriate treasure for that monster or not? Should I give treasure for EL, if I have monster in that encounter that doesn't give treasure (like dire bears)?

While I don't know the specific module, in general, Paizo's APs list all of the treasure in their modules, in the appropriate sections. While running these modules, you supposedly got the treasure covered. That said, many people do not like some of the treasures the module provides, and often just replace stuff.

There is a small exception though, in the modules that sometime include wandering/ random monsters, you may wish to put a treasure there. Though personally- I won't. Paizo's APs usually have sufficient treasure as it is.
