I'm curious if there are any prestige classes that permenantly increase your size while maintaining everything else about you. I'm curious because I feel like making a warforged juggernaut, and I figured if he can become large size at any point that'll make him a very cool character, like a party golem that's smart enough to get out of the way of the stream of acid when the party wizard's too dead to tell him otherwise.

Player's Handbook p.260

An arcane caster of 9th level or higher can cast an 'Enlarge Person' spell on you followed by 'Permanency'. Granted, you'll have to deal with the possibility of it getting dispelled, but its an option that doesn't require you to sacrifice any progression, just gold.

One problem there, enlarge person doesn't work on warforged. They're constructs. And I wanted it to be able to function even if someone tries to dispel it or I walk into an anti-magic field.

Why not make up a feat between you and the GM? Be the easiest way. Warforge: Supersized, or Warforge: WMD

How about making a level 4 spell "Enlarge Monster" that works like Enlarge Person but can affect any creature (perhaps on condition that the creature isn't too big, like maybe not gargantuan-collosal). If Charm Monster can exist, why not Enlarge Monster?

How about you state your race as WUS, Warforged of Unusual Size

Easier answer is no. There is not.

I got it! Talk four more of the party into playing warforges. Then cast mending 2 of them can form your feet and legs; the other two your arms and body!

But where will they find a blazing sword to go with it?

And would they be required to color-code?

Large, vorpal, flame burst bastard sword.

And colors are up to the characters.

Are you all going to take different Barbarian totem levels? One's a bear, another is a cougar, another's a bird...

And to further add to the joke...would the warforged be rangers?

(Or, more accurately I suppose, monks?)

Ooh! Ooh! Make the warforged buddies have lion modes!

...yeah, I'm not really helping here. Homebrew time, perhaps?

The Power Rangers/ Voltron mix-ups here amuse me.
though it would be SWET to see anything like that happen in D&D.

heh, anyways, though, maybe be a psion and use the expansion power, or something? I'm not too keen on psionics, but maybe it could work?

Sounds like an intresting concept, who says warforged need to be human sized/shaped, Giant Spider Warforged, Bear warforged, Warforged with Da-vinchi esque propellers allowing them to fly
The possibilities are endless

Epic Dragon Disciplie increases your size, doesn't it? At levbels 15, 25, 35, ect.

Of course, you have to convince your DM to let you become a warforged dragon disciple. I did once, but my DM said it was a one time thing, and I had to carve my face to look draconic to be cool enough for him to allow it >_>

I think there's an Epic class that increases your size. It might even be called Juggernaut.

That's when the DM has to create Dinosaur constructs to take you down.

Voltron Warforged is definitely going to be an encounter I make.

Make your Warforged a cleric and houserule that Permanency can be used on Righteous Might? Because THAT wouldn't be broken in any way. Permanent size, Str, and damage reduction. :smallamused:

Well, if you could get 5 Warforged Wizards to do some kind of Co-operative casting, and then Sovereign Glued 4 of them to the limbs of the fifth...

Exercise, and eat your vegetables, and you'll grow up big and strong.
Or homebrew some rules together. Bribe your DM into allowing it. Tell him you'll be easier for him to hit.

1. Play a maug (from Fiend Folio)
2. A Ring of Growth (18000, Savage Species) makes you a size category larger with +4 Str and -2 Dex 1/day for 9 minutes.
3. The Behemoth Belt (4000, Secrets of Xen'Drik) is a warforged component that makes you Large (same effect as enlarge person) 1/day for 5 minutes.

You could always take a level of psychic warrior. They have a first level power called expansion.

Voltron is easy to accomplish, you just need 5 Warforged with Fusion.
