I'm working on an idea and want my character to be connected to cold, so what's the closest frozen land to Absalom?

There really isn't one close by, geographically speaking.

That said, Absalom is one of Golarion's major trade hubs by multiple routes. The Ulfen lands under the Linnorm Kings lands have the strongest tradition of sail of the northern counties, and a habit of hiring themselves out as housecarls to the wealthy, especially Taldans. Irrisen is more insular, but does have some trade, as do the Mammoth Lords tribes.

It somewhat depends what your character will be. The Linnorm Kings and Mammoth Lords lands produce mostly warriors, especially barbarians, while Irrisen is heavy on the intrigues of casters, especially witches.

The mountains on the Isle of Kortos (the island that Absolom is on) perhaps, but those are supposed to very dangerous, and I don't think there are any human tribes to speak of in that region.

Nope, centaurs, minotaurs, and harpies all the way.

Thank you very much; For what it's worth, I'm making a soulknife, so there's that.
