UPDATE: I would like to send a big thanks out to LordRod, who you all can thank for the updated compilation of locations. So once again, the list is nice and caught up. Yeah!

Obviously there have been a few threads dealing with meet-ups and what-not. Of course, you never know if there are enough people in your general area to even have a meet-up until you post the thread. So I thought to myself "wouldn't it be nifty to have a single thread that everyone could come to, where they could post thier global locations (if they wanted) and thus make it easier to meet-up with other GITPers in thier area?"

So I hereby claim that this shall be that thread. And I invite all GITPers to contribute if they wish. Any who do will be added to the master list that I shall begin in this post.

Myself, I am located in Plano, Texas, USA. It's essentially an extension of Dallas, Texas if you've heard of that place.

That's cool, my boss is from Turkey, he's from a small area in the southwest region of the country.

Also, a lot of people (like me) post the largest city that they are close to because nobody knows where Worth, IL is. So I just put "Chicago" because it is a suburb in the southwest region of the greater Chicago metro area.

The funny thing about us Montrealers when it comes to Toronto is that both political poles ends up felling ill about it: the federalists because they no longuer have the biggest, richest and cosmopolitan city in Canada and the separatists because English Canada managed to better develop a city than French Canada!
