Instead of the barbarian druid, who has a static bonus to damage while raging, and the awesome damage resistance, a paladin/druid can smite all day.
It does have a bit of a stat-tax, considering a single classed moon druid would probably dump STR and CHA, but I think it's a pretty cool combo.
