If a character has done the Psionic Sammich trick, are they considered an object? If they become a sword, can they then be enchanted as a sword?

If so, what then happens if they do the trick again to regain a normal body?

How can we abuse this?

Welp, considering that most enchantments don't work on natural weapons, jack squat.

Unless, however we notice this little tidbit:

A monk’s unarmed strike is treated both as a manufactured weapon and a natural weapon for the purpose of spells and effects that enhance or improve either manufactured weapons or natural weapons (such as the magic fang and magic weapon spells).

This states that by RAW Monk's unarmed strike can be enchanted. Normally that wouldn't mean anything good, because, well, Monk.

Dipping swordsage, however is fair game.

Dancing unarmed strike would add free attacks/maneuvers used per turn, and could similarly snap the action economy in half with any amount of casting support.

The psionic sandwich is composed of two separate entities - a physical form (sandwich) containing a nonphysical mind (psion). When a physical form is controlled by a nonphysical mind that is not intrinsically linked to the form (e.g. magic jar possession), the mind is not targetable separately from the form. This means that the mind on its own is untargetable, so the psionic sandwich can only be targeted by effects that can target objects. A magic jar possessor who casts a "Target: You" spell can't have it target their own mind but not also target the body they're possessing, so (by my reading of things, at least) the psionic sandwich can't manifest self-targeting powers or powers that target the manifester's own body - the sandwich is the container housing their mind, but it is not (for rules purposes) their body. They can, however, manifest object-targeting powers on their form - Far Hand, for example, can be used for easy self-propulsion when you're not in a hurry, and in urgent circumstances you could create an Astral Construct to carry you, cast Telekinetic Thrust to fling yourself away (throw the sandwich as a ranged touch attack targeting an unoccupied square - projectiles don't take damage), or use Psionic Teleport to transport the sandwich (and your mind along with it) to safety. Because it houses a mind, I'd rule that the sandwich counts as an attended object for saving throws and targeting and such.

In the case of a sword, the enhancement bonus is applied only to the sword, not to any minds that happen to be housed within it - so Mind Switching into a body wouldn't give you any weird innate enhancement bonuses or anything.

No, because you retain your mental stats - that includes Wisdom, which makes you a creature rather than an object.

To answer all of these in order: no, yes, nothing really notable, replace 'sandwich' with 'Emerald Legionnaire'.

Enchanting a psychic sandwich weapon doesn't give you much that a vanilla hardened monk wouldn't get.

Obscure Object can act as a budget Mind Blank.
