Reinforcing the MM

I have a copy of the Monster Manual where the pages seem to be in the process of separating themselves from the hard cover, starting at the top of the spine.

The pages, however, give no sign of separating themselves from each other.

Would it be wise to drop glue inside the spine? If yes, what kind of glue? What else should I do?

I had the same with the phb. Well it was chunks of pages. Careful gluing did help for quite a while.

I just carefully supper glued a friends copy back together, it was in several large pieces.

Tip: make sure the glue goes right to the end of the spine. If there is an unglued millimetre at the end it will come away again a lot quicker.
