So I signed up for a pathfinder game this weekend and it's been a while since I've played. As such I'm having some issues with figuring out how to properly build my character. Namely in the dumpstat area.

I want to have 18 str (after racials. Half orc) 15 con and 14 dex. But I also want 12 wis. so I need a 7 in either int or charisma. Now I know int means nothing for a barbarian, but I don't like actively losing skill points due to a low int (this is probably why barbarians get 4 per level while fighters get 2). I'm worried that if I dump cha then I wouldn't be able to intimidate anyone (I took the mystic half Orc life. I'm role playing him as a failed shaman's appreciate who was caste out for being unable to to fulfill the role and now has a dislike of magic because he believes it was the cause of his suffering).

Any tips? I'd also like your opinions on what his alignment might be. He doesn't know much of civilized society and while he dislikes magic I'm probably not going to have him actively hunt down magic users to kill them. More like he'd make negative comments on magic that didn't work or (and I'm actually not sure if I want to go this route) suffer low level PTSD when being the target of magic.

So far I'm thinking true neutral.

You'll want Intimidating Prowess (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/feats/combat-feats/intimidating-prowess-combat---final) to offset your Cha penalty. Your strength should easily be high enough, especially later on, that you won't notice the tiny negative your Cha gives you.

If you put a couple of the extra sp you got by not dumping int into Intimidate (assuming you wouldn't max it out) you'll probably already be better at the skill than if you didn't dump cha.

Second the above, intimidating prowess and more ranks will make your CHA penalty nothing of note.

For alignment, true neutral is always best-you can change it if your character starts pulling in a particular direction.

You can also have your fear/dislike of magic be a mechanical thing, through the superstition (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/classes/core-classes/barbarian/rage-powers/paizo---rage-powers/superstition-ex),disruptive (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/classes/core-classes/barbarian/rage-powers/paizo---rage-powers/disruptive),eater of magic (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/classes/core-classes/barbarian/rage-powers/paizo---rage-powers/eater-of-magic-su) and witch hunter (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/classes/core-classes/barbarian/rage-powers/paizo---rage-powers/witch-hunter-ex) rage powers.

I'm wondering what level I should get it at since I'm starting with the raging vitality feat (though if I decide to go unchained I may get power attack first). At level three I'm thinking power attack, so I guess I should get that at level 5?

I'm actually planning on going that path. I've never actually played an anti magic character so it might be fun.

I'd go with normal Barbarian rather than UnBarb so that your rage boosts your Intimidate, carrying capacity, fort saves etc. Yeah you'll have to invest in stuff like Raging Vitality and ragecycling but I think boosting Str rather than attack and damage rolls gives the standard barb a bit more utility.

If the group has a healer or someone who can stabilize me when unconscious, I'll probably do normal. Otherwise I feel unchained is the safer option.

Plus I'm not sure I can rage cycle the first few levels.
