Is Negotiator the best Bard archetype for a party face?

I'm inclined to say that a Negotiator is about the best party face period. A scaling bonus to Diplomacy is something almost nobody else gets, and combined with a high CHA score and Diplomacy being a class skill (not to mention plenty of enchantments), you just can't do much better.
