Reducing the durration of a spell you cast?

Just as a question, besides casting a spell at a lower caster level or dispelling it, are there any methods to reduce the duration of a spell or spell-like ability?

Some spells are dismissable, signified by a (D) next to the duration, and with those you can just shut them off as a standard action if you're in range.
