There's actually already a thread for these, though it hasn't been updated in a while. You'd have to do a search for it.

Obviously a Queen fan..

I'm not sure any of those songs really fit the characters though.

You know, for everyone ranting about the Search feature, they obviously overlook at all times the fact that threadomancy is a no-no.

And a Black Sabbath fan.

No, I just found those two songs appropriate. I do agree that Xykon is too stupid for Mr. Crowley to fit him perfectly. I am, on the other hand a Queen fan. Also thinking about Redcloak's past or Miko's slaying of Shojo reminds Bohemian Rhapsody. Just think about the lyrics when listening to the song, then let me know what you think.

Good point:smallamused: But wasn't the word thread necromancy?:vaarsuvius: I'd call it Cure Critical Non-Postage myself:durkon:

The lyrics (http://www.queenwords.com/lyrics/songs/sng04_11.shtml) to Bohemian Rhapsody. Now do these fit?

:Belkar: - Another one bites the dust

It has the killing theme with a tune that matches his sadistically smiling demeanor. Or not, but that's my say.

Belkar: Helena - Misfits

V: Witchcraft - Wolfmother

Roy: Learn To Fly - Foo Fighters

For some reason I don't quite understand I think that Elan is suited well by the Spider-man theme song.

The lyrics (http://www.queenwords.com/lyrics/songs/sng04_11.shtml) to Bohemian Rhapsody. Now do these fit?
Only the few verses where he's singing about killing someone. And even then, just barely. The rest of the song barely makes sense, and Miko kind of does, in her own insane way.

Belkar: Definitely "Schadenfreude" from Avenue Q.

I somehow think Glitter and Be Gay from the musical version of Candide (by Leonard Bernstein) would suit Haley really well. Most of Candide's own arias would fit Elan (thow two are very similar characters).

:miko: "Holier than thou" by Metallica. Need I say why?
No more!
The crap rolls out your mouth again
Haven't changed, your brain is still gelatin
Little whispers circle around your head
Why don't you worry about yourself instead

Who are you? where ya been? where ya from?
Gossip is burning on the tip of your tongue

You lie so much you believe yourself
Judge not lest ye be judged yourself

Holier than thou
You are
Holier than thou
You are

You know not

Before you judge me take a look at you
Can't you find somethig better to do
Point the finger, slow to understand
Arrogance and ignorance go hand in hand

It's not who you are it's who you know
Others lives are the basis of your own
Burn your bridges build them back with wealth
Judge not lest ye be judged yourself

Holier than thou
You are
Holier than thou
You are

You know not

:redcloak: "Next in line" by Children of Bodom. For the "Sent to slaughter your mankind" line.
Let me tell you to try
What did you tell you
Another day goes by
Tell me why does
So this is why
We're falling down

The...

I am the chosen next in line
Sent to slaughter your mankind
Rip the souls, born to die
No reason for you to fight

What is this for?
I to say
And we leave

I am the chosen next in line
Send to slaughter your mankind
Rip the souls, born to die
No reason for you to try

I am the chosen next in line
Send to slaughter your mankind
Rip the souls, born to die
No reason for you to try

Soon Kim and his Sapphire Guard- "Run to the Hills" by Iron Maiden. Just replace "redskins" with "greenskins"
White man came across the sea
Brought us pain and misery
Killed our tribes killed our creed
Took our game for his own need

We fought him hard we fought him well
Out on the plains we gave him hell
But many came too much for Cree
Oh will we ever be set free?

Riding through dustclouds and barren wastes
Galloping hard on the plains
Chasing the redskins back to their holes
Fighting them at their own game
Murder for freedom a stab in the back
Women and children and cowards attack

Run to the hills run for your lives
Run to the hills run for your lives

Soldier blue on the barren wastes
Hunting and killing their game
Raping the women and wasting the men
The only good Indians are tame
Selling them whisky and taking their gold
Enslaving the young and destroying the old

Run to the hills run for your lives

Roy - "The fall" by Ministry

Xyklon - "Back from the dead"

I think that Death Unlimited by Norther kind of fits Belkar

"I am the Death Unlimited, And death is all I have to give, I'll tell you the meaning of life, it's not to live but to die."

Oh and Points of Authority by Linkin Park for Miko which I believe had already been suggested before.

Something classical for V.

I have a solution for the Rock/Classical debate for V. Read on.

:vaarsuvius: Anything by Trans-Siberian Orchestra, particularly Wizards in Winter or Christmas Eve Sarajevo. (Check out their myspace page)

:elan: Anything by Weird Al Yankovic. Maybe eBay.

:roy: Story of My Life by Smash Mouth. ("And I said hey, that's the story of my life, I had a good plan but it didn't go right. Aw, no, I'm overdrawn, I check my account and the money's all gone. Why me, I don't know what to think, I finally get aboard and the whole boat sinks. Seems to be the story of of my life.") That's the chorus, doesn't it seem to fit?

:miko: Crazy by Gnarles Barkley. It literally fits word-for-word with strip 406, starting from when Miko starts talking.

:xykon: Bad to the Bone by George Thorogood and the Destroyers. The part about love doesn't really fit, but the chorus does. Completely.

Miko- 'Lake of Fire' by the Meat Puppets as covered by Nirvana
Haley- 'One Piece At a Time' by Johnny Cash
Belkar- 'Rise Above' by Black Flag.....Or perhaps 'Low Rider' maybe 'Body Count'

When You're Evil - Voltaire is the only song for Xykon. Nice song bout being a charismatic evil bastard, who's evil really for the sake of being evil.

Speaking of Voltaire, Dead Girls would fit Tsukiko, espcially if you could just change it a little, "Dead Guuys like meeee".

Dooon't you want some :haley: to love?
Don't you need some Haley to love?
Wouldn't you love some Haley to love?
You better find some Haley to love.

You know you'll be singing it all day.

:miko: Harry Connick Jr's "Buried in Blue", at least for her funeral dirge.

:elan: All I Wanna Do Is Have Some Fun - Sheryl Crow (change "Billy" to "Haley")
or:
Don't Worry, Be Happy - Bobby McFerrin

:thog: I Love Rocky Road - Weird Al

:mitd: - Furry Happy Monster - R.E.M. on The Muppet Show, to the tune of "Shiny Happy People".

Furry Happy Monsters laughing.

Monsters having fun. Happy. Happy.
See them jump and run. Happy. Happy.
Laughing all the while. Cheerful. Cheerful.
Flashing a big smile, that's the perfect sign
That they're feelin' fine.

Furry Happy Monsters feeling glad.
Furry Happy Monsters feeling glad.
Furry Happy Monsters laughing.

Something has gone wrong. Sighing. Sighing.
Faces have turned long. Crying. Crying.
Hear them sob and whine. Tearful. Tearful.
That's a real good sign that they're feeling glum.
Sad, sad times have come.

Furry Sobbing Monsters feeling sad.
Furry Sobbing Monsters feeling sad.
Furry Sobbing Monsters crying.

[Spoken in interlude: C'mon Monsters, (What?) you don't have to cry. (No?) We can be HAPPY! (Yeah! Woohoo!)

Furry Happy Monsters feeling glad.
Furry Happy Monsters feeling glad.
Furry Happy Monsters laughing.

Furry Sobbing Monsters feeling sad.
Furry Sobbing Monsters feeling sad.
Furry Sobbing Monsters crying.

Furry Happy Monsters feeling glad.
Furry Happy Monsters feeling glad.
Furry Happy Monsters laughing.

Monsters, happy monsters.
Monsters, happy monsters.
Monsters, happy monsters...

:belkar: Meaning of Life by Disturbed (its a horrible song and really explicit, but it fits)
