Help me with an anime title?

I'm looking for a show I remember starting once and then I got distracted by shiny things. If I remeber correctly, it's about a demon queen (I think she wears fake horns to properly play the part?) who encounters a hero who was supposed to slay her, but then gets converted to her side when he finds out she's trying to bring peace to the continent using socially conscious economic planning. Does that ring any bells for anyone?

It's maoyu maouu yuusha, or "be mine, hero."

It's a fairly popular franchise of light novel, anime, and manga. So you might be thinking about the anime.

(I think the anime is adaptation of the "good" manga. The reason I mention this is that it's kinda a franchise, with many variation of the same premise, where there's one manga about the actual serious story, another a comedy manga, and so on.)
