I was lurking on a thread about an Uber mage and a build came into my head. If I were to say go full sorcerer and add a single level of wizard, would I be able to copy a sorcerer spell,which is inside another wizards spell book, that is higher than a lvl 1 spell , into my book and cast is as a sorcerer?
What about if it wasn't a sorcerer spell but was a wizard one? Can I copy a spell I know from my sorcerer memory into my wizard spell book if it's also a wizard spell? What if it's not?
I am AFB but I figure that since im (lvl 14 sorcerer let's say) I many different level of spell slots, but I can copy spells into my spell book because wizard let's me copy as many spells as I want(assuming I have the ink and space and other people let me copy them for free) even though the wizard side brings only a couple lvl 1 spell slots
