Bestiary by role?

Is there an index somewhere that categorizes the various monsters by role (combat style), instead of by statblock characteristics?

Moon crow's "Handle Animal Guide (http://www.minmaxboards.com/index.php?topic=1300.0)" does this for animals you might summon, befriend, attract as a mount or animal companion. (See the second reply in the thread.)

Eggynack has a good guide to animal summons as bart of his Druid Guidebook (https://docs.google.com/document/d/1Ih-sX02HXPAW7NvsK4vuVsGqB0H0sk56dGrpr3Tsjeo/edit#heading=h.g5mgw3oya6wc).

And Eggs's Summoners Desk Reference (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?255219-The-Summoner-s-Desk-Reference-D-amp-D-3-5) is also useful for Summon Monster options (and Nature's Allies--I personally prefer Eggynack's more detailed analysis on that, though).

Is there an index of all printed monsters organized by statistics? I'd be interested in seeing that.
