I need to make a lvl 13 lich like the title says, the only think that is set in stone is that I need to have undead leadership. This is what I have so far:

Race: Grey Elf; Because of the +2 on intelligence and dex

Class/ Progression:
-13 wiz
- take lich template
- 5 Lord of the dead (for the turn resistance and bonus to my skeletal army)
- 3 Arch Mage
- Demilich
- never able to level again... who cares, I'm a god :smallcool:

Feats: all for Lord of the Dead and Arch Mage plus Undead Leadership, Improved Paralysis, Improved turn resistance
cohort will be a wight monk (can duplicate himself for free so I can save on onyx)

Shopping list:
- Robe of the Archmagi
- Vest of the Archmagi
- Ring of Desecration, Greater
- Ring of Unholy Aura, Greater
- Cloak of Turn Resistance
- That's all I got for now...

Is there anything anyone would suggest different or something to add?

You can't. In the case you've stated, you'd have a level 17 Lich.

Now that that's out of the way, don't go Wizard 13. I'd say dump the Gray Elf for Human (from Thay) and go Wizard 5 and then prestige out into Red Wizard and take like 5 levels there, then for the final three before becoming a Lich... I dunno, maybe Fatespinner?

Also, for Leadership of any sort? See if you can get Red Mages as followers yourself.

I dont think he would be cool with it because the whole world is home brewed. Is there any other Prestige class you would recommend? Also he said I can do that, I will spend all of my starter money at lvl 13 to pick up the template.

...Ok... I'd say that if you are willing to play a specialist Wizard (that is, specialize in Necromancy and drop Evocation and either Enchantment or Illusion), you could go Wizard 3/Master Specialist 10.

After you've taken your first 4 Levels of Master Specialist, you'd gain this:
When you cast a necromancy spell, undead allies within 60 feet gain turn resistance and a bonus on saves equal to your master specialist level for a number of rounds equal to your master specialist level.

At your 7th level of Master Specialist, you become flat out immune to negative levels, abilitiy damage, energy drain and ability drain.

At 10th level in that class, when you cast a necromancy spell, undead allies within 60 feet gain fast healing 10 for 5 rounds.

So that might be interesting for you, I suppose.

EDIT: Also, you may want to keep your Wisdom high... you know, since your advancement after becoming a Demilich will probably be spellstitching and only spellstitching.

...Ok...
I just mention that because you said when making that character they have to be from Thay. I wont be able to justify it because that is a place if I'm not mistaken. It doesn't exist in this campaign.

Yeah,I just found that a very harsh thing, because Animate Dread Warrior, the best Undead-creation spell IMO, alo mentions Thay, so you wouldn't be able to get access to it. It won't allow you to create Chosen Ones either, so I'm kinda surprised.

I would replace 5 levels of wizard with 5 of abjurant champion. It gives good benefits and the prerequisites are easy to meet.
Here is the web link for abjurant champion or just check it in complete mage

I pitched it to him and sure enough he said no but let me go inchantrix.. which is weird but ok. spells on the other hand would be easier to pitch, he likes the creativity that comes with spells. I'm also a mechanical engineering student so I have been designing things that include a couple permancy spells and a lot of mechanics. It makes it so much funner.
