Homebrew or just can't find the source

A while back in a friend's campaign we had some eye-drops of darkvision, and there were specific stats for it at the time. In a later campaign, a different friend used them for his campaign, using similar stats. Now, for my campaign, I'm interested in them, but I can't find a source for them.

I know about worn items that grant darkvision, but they're a bit pricey for low-level characters. If anyone knows where they're from, please let me know. And if no one can find them, maybe a little help coming up with some homebrewed stats?

You might have used a potion of Darkvison (300 gp) but used it as eye-drop, didn't you?

I know of exactly 1 item that is dropped in the eyes and gives darkvision.

But its not a potion of darkvision in eye drop form. Its a drug that has a benefit of granting darkvision for a few minutes whilst being addictive and causing stat penalties.

Not sure if that is what you are looking for or not.

I know of no darkvision, but Panther Tears from Secrets of Xen'drik are eye-drops which give low-light vision for an hour.
