So my campaign world has an old, old, incredibly old Yuan-ti wizard, and I've been looking back at 3.5 texts (like serpent kingdoms) for ophidian-themed spells to convert to 5th edition.
Take Vipergout for example, if you don't know it you can find it here:

How would you convert this? Obviously fiendish and celestial do not exist outside of the realm of fluff in 5e, and I figure Giant Poisonous Snake (or maybe Swarm?) is analogous with Medium Viper, but would the spell remain at level 7?
It's duration would have to change to concentration, and the number of snakes would most likely change, but I figured I'd ask the playground for any advice before I got too ahead of myself.
