Like with the Extra Shifter Trait feat?

Doesn't look like you can, no. Extra shifter trait specifies that you can take shifter traits from the shifter race description, on a particular page at that, and saurian shifter traits aren't from the shifter race description. You also can't take the traits normally, because shifter traits also specify that you're choosing off of a regimented list, rather than from some broader set of shifter traits. And it looks like other things that grant shifter traits use the feat directly. If there's another source that does grant unbounded shifter traits, then I'm not aware of it. Notably, it looks a lot like saurian shifters have the exact opposite problem. In particular, they seem capable of taking extra shifter trait, but because that feat specifies that you gain a trait from that fancy list of shifter traits, said shifter trait is necessarily pulled from the list of normal shifter feats, and can't come from saurian shifter traits. Although, the fact that extra shifter trait says you get a second trait, rather than a new shifter trait, could preclude the use of extra shifter trait on the saurian shifters, which have two traits already.

"second" is a wording problem that crops up more often though. Illumians and their sigils for example.
