Hey there,

So I'm making a Dervish Defender Warder for an impending Skull & Shackles campaign. The plan is to use a rapier + (whatever else as opportunity permits, fist/dagger/starknife/what have you). Naturally, lots of Thrashing Dragon goodness. But that can't be everything. Which other disciplines do folks feel put a lot on the table?

I know that you start S&S press-ganged, and probably minus most/all of your gear, so I'm thinking Broken Blade is a high-value proposition, at least at the start. Anyone care to confirm/deny/expand on that?

Thanks for your time!

Broken Blade and/or Fool's Errand are rather good. The latter has a stance that gives you Improved Unarmed Strike.

Mithril Current is also useful, especially with its movement-granting abilities.

You also get native access to Riven Hourglass, so you get access to lots of goodies as long as you don't mind having supernatural abilities.
