I am about to run a Pathfinder pirate campaign using elements of Skulls & Shackles, Razor Coast and some others and I was wondering what the consensus was on where to find the best and/or simplest ship combat rules and methods. Oh, and if you're about to tell me about the rules system that you use because it is so much better than d20, please don't :)

We used stormwrack's ship combat rules in 3.5. Seemed to work well. I don't know how it might translate to pathfinder, though.

Star wars d20 is mostly a garbled mess of terrible, but the ship combat rules there are pretty good. Not sure if that counts as another system or not since it's still d20. It's pretty easy to port over.

Thanks, I'll take a look at both.

Something else you might be interested in looking at is Ships of Skybourne (http://www.rpgnow.com/product/171127/Ships-of-Skybourne). It has varying sets of complexity depending upon how indepth you want ship combat to be.

I'm also running a S&S>RC game and I'm planning to use the RC ship combat rules.
