For a setting I'm working on, I'm looking for a creature (or possibly spell) that can cause a blight that would wipe out an expansive old growth temperate deciduous forest, or at the very least, weaken the forest enough that a forest fire would clear 90% of the trees. It doesn't have to be an explicit ability, just fluff that it could do so. Preferably, a singular creature (or single casting of a spell). Does anyone know of a creature like this in PF?
