View Full Version : Vampire Shadow Summoner?

I'm dming my first game, and one of the boss fights I have planned is against a Vampire Fetchling Shadow Summoner. I didn't realize until a few days ago that vampires cast no shadow, but the Shadow Summoner's eidolon is made up of his shadow. How would that work? I know that as dm I can just make it so, and the pcs will most likely kill him pretty quickly, but what are your thoughts?

Well, every vampire's shadow has to go SOMEWHERE, and in this vampire's shadow went into his eidolon^^

The best part is that your eidolon can pretend to be your real shadow in polite company and fool people into not realizing you're a vampire.

...Stealing for a villain concept I totally didn't just think of
