Thanks for checking this out, I'll dive right in.

I'm making a low Magic World where magic simply hasn't developed yet. I'm barring all full casters right out (Warlocks, Wizards, Sorcerers, Clerics), but not Bards.
I plan on taking out Arcane Trickster and Eldritch Knights.
I was thinking I'd drop the spell casting feature of Bards to be replaced with something from a different class. I'm entirely unsure though. Perhaps a slower progressing sneak attack? Or like 1d3 or something?

One of the things I'm trying to hammer out is what to do about Half Casters. The Ranger is simple, I'll just use that non magic UA version with the new UA Conclaves. That may not be balanced, but my group wouldn't even notice, and if something needs fixing I'd just change it then.

Paladin is trickier... What's worth the loss of smite, spells, and lay on hands? Not a paladin, really. The world this takes place in has gods that stopped all action and contact years ago, so maybe there isn't a space for the Archetype here? Maybe a fighter Subclass based off long forgotten prayers or something.. I dunno.

What do you guys think? Any ideas?

I posted a similar thread a few weeks ago. The best suggestion in that thread was to check out the new 5e Adventures in Middle Earth. Full on system for a low magic setting that you can impliment in whatever world you like.
