i was passing through sandstorm and saw the saguaro sentinel and something internal screamed "cactus boxer! cactus boxer!" at the top of it's metaphysical lungs, can anyone suggest a way to best utilize pure fist fighting?

He's talking about 3.5: the Saguaro Sentinel is a 3.5-only monster AFAIK. Even if it isn't, Sandstorm is a 3.5 book.

That said, OP, are you talking about fistfighting as a Saguaro Sentinel or fistfighting in general? In the first case the high ECL will prevent most viable characters.

The ECL is high... How about paying for a True Mindswitch instead and go Swordsage before that?

There is a race called Cactacae in Dragon Magazine that are also cactus people but are made to be player characters.

He's an upcoming enemy npc so his ecl is negligeble five or so levels to just make him a beefier brute
