I'm building a high level cleric/wizard mystic theurge for a play by post campaign on myth weavers, and have to figure out just how many spells I want to have access too. I recently found out about the existence of blessed books, which allow wizards to write down 1,000 pages worth of spells without costing anything.

I can cast up to level 7 arcane spells, and my main contribution to the party will be the sheer volume and variety of spells I can cast per day. It even makes sense from an RP perspective for me to have so much magic- my character is the daughter of the high priest of Nethys, the God of magic.

With this in mind- if I wanted to have every wizard spell up to 7th level written down in a spell book, how many pages would it take? I've got plenty of gold, so the cost of blessed books isn't a concern.

If this is a 3.5 game, grabbing the Geometer PRC (trivial to qualify for as a Wizard), it's one page per spell.

It's a pathfinder game, and I don't even have access to whatever book that PRC is from. Besides, I already have most levels taken up by mysitic theurge.

One page per spell level, per spell. 0 level spells take a full page. CRB page 219.

a + b + 2c + 3d + 4e + 5f + 6g + 7h. A through h are the number of spells at each spell level from 0-7 respectively. You're going to be counting a while.

All admit I started this thread with the intention of someone counting for me. That said- I've started counting myself and will post the result soon.

This information may be missing something but should be mostly up to date (unless there are some books still not on the d20pfsrd)

That's really weird. I got 4287 pages. One of us must have really fuged up the counting.
