take shield but otherwise spells are whatever to me

Draconic Sorcerous Origin

Draconic Ancestry - Red(Fire)

Cantrips - Acid Splash, Blade Ward, Friends, Dancing Lights

EDIT: With enough focus on these two classes, it feels like we might have a little bit of an Ultimate Magus build happening from the 3.X days.

Also... FIRE!!!

sorcerer 2
Feather Fall

Remember Kids

Each spell you know and prepare is associated with one of your classes, and you use the spellcasting ability of that class when you cast the spell. Similarly, a spellcasting focus, such as a holy symbol, can be used only for the spells from the class associated with that focus.

So don't waste Sorcerer Spells on things with Attack Rolls & Saves

I was actually envisioning a build where we wouldnt even really use Sorcerer spells for casting, was mostly to turn low level spells into Spell Points to fuel Metamagic Twin/Quicken at higher levels, which is where my Ultimate Magus comment stems from.

But if you wanted to be a Fire Blaster you can't Know those Spells from Sorcerer. Wizards can just add those Spells with down time & gold. Was my point.

Personally I think going for master xmuter is the best plan at this point, since you get some sick effects from that

You're not wrong, but it is probably possible to boost Charisma up to a functional level with ASI's to not be terrible at saves/attacks. Just requires people to not waste them on goofy Feats or multiclass into 3 extra classes we dont need.

Probably, according to this (http://www.enworld.org/forum/showthread.php?402507-Deconstructing-5e-Typical-Wealth-by-Level) a Level 20 should accumulate around 684,000. Welcome to copying every 1-7 Wizard spell into the spell book. (I'm guessing I didn't do all the Math but copying all 16 official Lv7 Wizard Spells costs 5600gp....sooo)

That's assuming you can find scrolls or other spellbooks with those spells. At least in worlds I run I consider characters of level 10+ to be exceedingly rare. (due to the world-warping powers they can use on a daily basis) That would mean very few people ever learned those spells and there would be very few copies in existence.

It's really weird how wizards work nothing like actual learning. Imagine if every new physicist had to start from the level of knowledge Galileo was at and then try to work their way up to Einstein and then accomplish something with that knowledge before the next generation when knowledge would reset again.

Meh, if we assume the setting is Forgotten Realms they could always go to Candlekeep.

Even at 2000gp per 7th level spell a Spellbook with all the 7th level Spells would Cost 32,000. And I upped the price. All you would have to do is buy a bunch of rare books for entrance. (SCAG)

Let's Double the most valuable Art Object listing 7,500gp. That's still 150,000 for 10 Rare books (or hell 1) to get in.

Lol it's just Theoretical Fun. None of this would work in game but this isn't a real character.

Updated the original post with all the info.

I will use this gal in the second part of my dormant campaign. She'll be one of the archmages, who betrayed her order by studying the filthy arts of sorcery and now seeks revenge. Will keep you posted on the results.
