View Full Version : 3rd party book: Trap's and Treachery, does this glaring error have a fix?

I know third party tends to not get much notice here, but I'm a fan of it in general due to just how fun some of it is! My long-term group's philosophy is essentially disregard total game balance until something's either over-the-top stupid, or when someone stops having a good time due to being overshadowed

One book I got today is Traps & Treachery, which has cool rules for rogues and DMs to make custom poisons and traps and a lot of things like that. The main error with their poison creation system though is that it is missing a set of numbers for the duration of special effect poisons (with things like blinding, dazzling, or even "spell-like effects" which I find cool)

Does anyone with the book have a remedy for this other than use another book like Poisoncraft: The Dark Art or just having a conversation between myself and a player on what the poison should do?
