Hi, so my gm is allowing traits and im not sure which to take. I want to take them for fluff reasons, though it would be nice if they were also useful to my purpose as the tank. Fitting the fluff is the important part.
My characters backstory was that he is a prince who after learning he was not suited to the crown at the age of 8 (He was not close in secession, and he lacked basic social skills) decided that he could help his country the best through perfecting scholarly pursuits and science. He then stayed locked in the castle library and his lab until he was 30. His focus of study was on what humanity tries to deny about itself, the murderous, the animalistic, the primal, he thought that by understanding them he could harness them. And harness them he did creating a potion which brought all of his monstrous qualities out into his mutagen form which looked like a monstrous sloth crossed with a snake who had 23 strength. He was amazed with his new strength, and knew that he could use it to great use. His family kindly said "Hey you should go use your powers to go help people and test out the potion" by which they meant "You technically have not committed any crimes but you are a horrible monster, please get the hell out of our house so we don't have to look at you and you don't bring us shame". He took the quest in stride, and is now doing everything he can to help his country with his newfound strength.
Personality wise, he is deeply devoted to good and the law, and will do anything to help people, but is completely socially oblivious, and every sentence he says to a commoner includes an insult that he does not understand is an insult his first line was "Of course strange dirty old peasant knight, I swear to follow your quest in the names of the gods I don't worship, you have my word!" He was being sincere. he knows a fair bit about how the noble world works, and about anything you could learn in books, but knows nothing about the real world.
Beasty (mutagen form) has a different personality. He fulfills all of woodworms desires and goals, but has no sense of morality or empathy, his own agenda is all about eating tasty things and wanting to hunt. Although he is a giant monster he is better in social situations than woodworm because he does not openly insult people every time he talks.
Build wise he is a beastmorph alchemist who is going to take a level in master chymist. Im building him so that his mutagen form is as monstrous as possible, and all his extracts and discoveries alter his body in some way, ei, monkey fish, skin send, living mummy. He is the groups tank.
