Epic poems tell the stories of mighty heroes, carrying the legend and history their deeds from generation to generation, magnifying their actions into powerful stories worthy of their great heroics.
Achilles may have led the Greeks, but Homer made him a legend.

Lore: A Scribe of Legends' class level stacks with his Bard level (if any) to determine the power of his Lore ability. (If he has no bard levels, he gains Lore as a bard of his Scribe of Legends class level.

Epic Tale: Scribes of Legends turn the stories of their adventuring parties into tales of true honor and adventure, inspiring those who read their tale and spurring their comrades on to even greater heights. Scribes of Legends publish a tale of adventure, detailing the exploits of their party, and their party is inspired by that collective legend. Members of the Scribe's party gain a +1 bonus on Attacks, Damage, and Saves. This bonus increases to +2 at level 5, and +3 at level 10.
In addition to the bonuses granted by Epic Tale, the story grants the party great fame. The (exaggerated) exploits of the party can be identified by any NPC with a Knowledge (History) or Lore check with a DC equal to (25 - Scribe of Legends Class Level)

Bonus Spells: Scribe of Legends draw from a great wealth of spellcasting knowledge. At levels 2, 3, 5, 6, 8, and 9, you may add to your spells known list a spell of any level you can cast from any arcane or divine spellcasting list.

Heroic Reputation: The party of a Scribe of Legends is known far and wide, and commands respect as such. Starting at 3rd level, anyone in the Scribe's of Legends party gains a +3 bonus on Diplomacy, Bluff, and Intimidate checks when dealing with anyone who is aware of their Epic Tale. Additionally, the DC to recognize the Scribe's of Legends Epic Tale decreases by 2.

Inspiring Verse (Ex): Not every event in the Scribe's life makes it into the epic, but some events particularly stand out as events of great importance. Once per day, starting at 4th level, the Scribe of Legend can declare an encounter to be an important event in the group's story. During such an encounter, the bonuses granted by the Epic Tale increase by 2, and the bonuses also apply to Caster Levels, Save DCs for abilities and spells of the party, AC, and attack rolls to confirm Critical Hits. Additionally, each member of the party gains 2d12+8 Temporary Hit Points. This ability is usable 2/Day at Level 8.

Grand Reputation: Ally, Stranger, and Enemy alike are awed by the tale of the Scribe of Legends. Starting at 6th level, all enemies within sight range of the Scribe's of Legends party with fewer HD than the Scribe of Legends who are aware of their Epic Tale take a -2 on Initiative, Attack Rolls, and Saving Throws. Additionally, the DC to recognize the Scribe's of Legends Epic Tale decreases by 2.

Legendary Reputation: At a high enough point, the Scribe's tale becomes a household name, and he and his party become living legends, and resist attempts to take away from their stature. Starting at 9th level, the Scribe's of Legends party's Epic Tale is automatically recognized by all individuals without any Knowledge or Lore check. Additionally, members of the party gain immunity to ability damage, ability drain and negative levels.

Make History: Eventually a Scribe's tale is itself the stuff of legends, part of the canon of heroes in an already heroic time. Your tale has been sung from voice to voice, read from father to son, and becomes exaggerated and puffed up each time it is told. Eventually, the party of which it speaks takes on some of the spirit of this legend, and begins to live up to the deeds that spin from the legend. At level, each member of the Scribe's of Legends party gains a temporary bonus feat, chosen from any for which the qualify. This functions like an ordinary feat, except that it cannot be used to qualify for any other feat or prestige class. If a party member gains this feat through normal means, they may choose a different feat as their temporary bonus feat. If the Scribe of Legends leaves the party or dies, this feat is immediately lost.
