Some Rule Help Please?

I have two simple questions, and I don't want to waste your time, so here they are:

1) Could 3 party members each cast Enlarge/Reduce on a human to make him Gargantuan?

2) Could I take a Belt of Storm Giant Strength, put on the Gauntlets of Ogre Power, then hold that hammer ( I forget the name) that requires you to wear the Gauntlets. Your Strength is now 30, then read the Tome to give +2. Does that work, and if it does, could I take off all the equipment and still have 32 Strength?

1) No. PHB 205: "The effects of the same spell cast multiple times don't combine."

2) Can't see a clear answer in the RAW. I would rule no, on the grounds that the Manual increases your base score, not your artificially-enhanced score.

The Tome increases your Strength, not that granted by a magic item. This would only work if the Belt of Storm Giant Strength could read :smalltongue:

Edit: Besides, there's a hard cap on ability scores. You can't under any circumstance have a higher score than 30.
