I'm trying to develop a character and a race for the character. I'm hoping to get involved in an online game if I can find one. I'm also going to need to talk to any DMs, I'll be working with to iron out the kinks for this character and make them viable for the game.

Here are the links to the other relevant threads (I don't know if that's against forum rules, so I'm going to have to be informed.)

Anyone? I'm really just wanting to get into a game of D&D, would it be better to curb my enthusiasm as it were?

You want to go to the Finding Players (Recruitment) (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?51-Finding-Players-(Recruitment)) forum. I don't think I've seen any 3.0 games advertised in forever, but PF is a pretty common choice.

You might also check out Mythweavers (http://www.myth-weavers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=141), which regularly has 3.5 and PF games advertised. (Since you seem to be thinking of a Swordsage, which is 3.5 material, I'm wondering if the request for 3.0 is must a misunderstanding.)

I would suggest Roll20, it's where I found my current group.
