Pugilist on DMs guild; thoughts?

So I recently picked it up, and I thought it looked suitable for play (some of the DMs guild stuff is nowhere near, in my opinion.) but what do you all think? Is it over or underpowered? Would you allow it at your table?

I saw that as well. I haven't played with it myself, but from what I've seen, it's pretty well built. Thematically, I don't think it fits real well--maybe it's just the name, but it feels like it belongs more in a Victorian-era setting than typical high fantasy. I wouldn't offer it to my players for thematic reasons, but if someone wanted to try it out, I don't think I'd say no.

In essence, it's a strength based unarmed character with some grappling and the like. Sort of like if you made tavern brawler into a class.
