Martial weapons
1 handed melee weapons
Arming sword 1d8, 19-20/x2, 2lb

2 handed melee weapons
Longsword 2d6, 19-20/x2, 3lb*
Bastard sword 1d10, 19-20/x2, 3lb **

Exotic weapon
2 handed melee weapon
Zweihander (greatsword) 2d8, 19-20/x2, Reach, 5lb

*A longsword can be wielded in one hand at a -2 penalty
**A bastard sword can be wielded in one hand at a -1 penalty

I think this more accuratly represent how historical sword are classified and their uses.
Shortswords are unchanged (exemple includes gladius, seax basselard), longsword are renamed arming swords.
Greatswords are renamed to longswords and bastard sword are slightly shorter longsword. Both can be used in one hand with some degree of ease.

The exotic sword isn't a bastard sword but is a proper greatsword. A weapon that is at least 55 inches long, up to 84 inches. It's used less like a sword and more like a sword shaped poleaxe and so requires an entirely different combat technique. Hence the exotic proficiency.

Weights have been adjusted slightly.
