View Full Version : Ridiculous party concept: the "natural" party

The goal here is to build an adventuring party that doesn't use clothes or armor. So far I have:

A monk: wisdom based unarmored defense
A dragonic sorcerer: gets a base AC of 13
A barbarian: constitution based unarmored defense
A wizard: Mage armor gives a base AC of 13

I totally based my title of "ridiculous character concepts: 50 miles per hour man" check the thread out.

A moon Druid could fit as well after not too many levels

Warlock can join the party at 2 (at will Mage Armor). I suppose Fey would be most thematic.

Heh heh, Moon Druid would be right for the party on many levels.

...also, they can cast Barkskin.

I love the idea of just a whole party running around without clothes fighting dragons
and a bladesinger wizard with shield and mage armor would make the wizard have a very decent ac

Dex based Eldritch Knight with Mage armor works as well.

This sounds like it could be fun. Though my first thought when I saw the title was a group of all elves, that were vegan, on a quest to convert dragons to the vegan lifestyle or perish.

It would appear you fundamentally misunderstand. Perhaps you should assk for some help?

Yes, I'm sure you do actually get it, I'm just playing along.

I'd really like them to go completely natural -- no clothes, no armor, and *no weapons* or other equipment.

Monk works great for this.

Barbarian with Tavern Brawler, using whatever's handy or just his hands in a pinch.

Rogue with Tavern Brawler and a DM ruling letting his fists count as "finesse weapons" for sneak attack.

Any caster would require a DM ruling on their arcane/divine focus -- maybe a tattoo of a holy symbol? -- or else have problems.

It's like the Geico Cavemen of PC parties.
Discovery's all new "Naked and Brave"

Or carefully examine their list for spells with no M component.

Add a ranger - OK, they give up 2 AC not having the usual studded leather, but make them a High Elf and have them hunt with their one cantrip.

My apologies.

I narrowly made my Wisdom save earlier tonight to avoid this fate.
