With the Brick Awards Run-Off, 392 was declared the highly contested Golden Brick (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?499898-The-Golden-Bricks-Run-Off), and 63 strips were left with no votes whatsoever, after two entire tournaments. Normally, we're here to find the most ignored bricks of all time. But today, I'm going to postpone the Ultra-Brick Awards. The reason? Looking at the same strips too often is going to make the votes a touch biased - and I want the rounds to be fresh. So, instead I give you, the Ultra-Brick Intermission

The format is simple: These comics are piled together, randomly scooped up in groups of 10, and we'll vote on them! In the intermission, vote for the comic that is your most-favorite! Please bold your votes, like this. We could have a small vote at the end to find out who was the best of the round (declared it Something Silly). We could pile up the remaining leftovers, and repeat the process with as many rounds as it takes to get a defined no-vote champion. Hypothetically, if we had this ends with several strips that receive votes and none that have zero-votes, or we had four or fewer no-vote champions, all of the minimum count would be declared as Something Really Silly. We then could have a final vote of least-favorite, instead of a vote for most-favorite. But all of that seems like a lot of nonsense. After all, the first rule of forum contests is that nobody reads the rules. This is just to vote on some random comics! So without further ado, I present to you the Ultra-Brick Intermission!

This is Intermission 1 and there are 10 comics to vote on. The titles are made up by me with phrases from the comic. In celebration of these, um, earlier times, I'm using phrases from the beginning times of the comic.

I think its clear that #3 is a real crowd-pleaser.

Then again, 8-bit theatre is still an amazing work of art.

Well, this is an interesting round. I think I'll go for the expert role playing in #8.

Wow. #5, featuring weirdly attractive V, was a near winner for me, but how could I not choose a comic with the line "If I have no nose, how do I smell?" #4 it is.

3, 8, or 10 will get my vote. I'll have to think about it.

Ironically, I haven't actually played NetHack in, like, ten years.

Voting 7 nonetheless.

Last call? It's a bit late, but I was on vacation! Anyways, votes close in like 9 hours. Why am I awake?

And voting is closed! I just love the order of the ASCII, so 7 is my vote. It's not enough to overthrow:

I'm not going running statistics on intermission rounds, other than the table.. In the meantime, now that you enjoyed a relaxing break and I got my new formatting ironed out, it's time to get back to work. Join us for the next round.
