Other than mutilating them(apparently the DM is saying you have to go well beyond cutting off part of their tongue), because that's too EVIL compared to executing them.

So far there's the two options of keeping them constantly knocked out by clubbing them every time they wake up and keeping them completely hog-tied/manacled up, but they each leave something to be desired.

It would be easier if we knew your goal.

But as a general tip, they revere Strahd as master of the land, the man who controls nature and weather, their lord. It would be easier to tell the ISIS guys to betray Mohammed.

Given the cost of guards, securing a loan to purchase a cell, wear and tear of rope and chains it might be cheaper in the long run to kill them then resurrect them when you need them again?

Why do you need to keep the Druid locked up? Escape and get killed. Problem solved!

Keep them from being able to cast spells or escape while we experiment on them with various spells as preparation for dealing with a particular evil tree.

Our DM would almost certainly play it like older editions where the creature has enough awareness of who is trying to raise it from the dead that it won't choose to be raised by a known enemy.

Do you have a cleric with access to magic circle, not sure if you are 5th level? But alas it may not work as they are human

Maybe glyph of warding and/or silence

Anti-magic field would work. It is used that way in Out of the Abyss. Though, some say it's just the faerzress that produces the affect.

If there is a size limit to wild shape, you can make a cage with smaller bars.
