View Full Version : Pathfinder Vigilante: anyone ever play one?

I'm about to start the Curse of the Crimson Throne adventure path with a halfling Teisatsu Stalker Vigilante. I've got my build more or less set up but I'm at a bit of loss with the social talents and I'm not even sure if the class is even functional. So yeah, share your experiences with or impressions of the class, especially the social identity aspects.

Any general non-spoiler-y advice about CotCT is appreciated as well.

halfling teisatsu vigilante (silas thane aka the black viper)

1 twf social grace
2 ki pool
3 extra ninja trick: vanishing trick
4 lethal grace
5 extra ninja trick: acrobatic master many guises
6 up close and personal
7 extra ki or weapon focus
8 HiPS
9 improved twf quick change
10 mighty ambush
11 imp crit/initiative/weapon focus
12 blind spot or abundant step
13 dazzling display immediate change
14 twisting fear
15 shatter defenses everyman
16 evasive/blind spot/abundant step
17 hero's display any guise
18 evasive/blind spot/abundant step
19 greater twf subjective truth
20 stalker's sense/strike the unseen

traits: reactionary, betrayed campaign trait (reformed criminal; social identity only)
racial traits: fey magic (longstrider, spark, create water, light), adaptable luck, skulker

not played but make sure your talents give you easy access to each identity and check legendary games vigilante stuff

I played a Warlock Vigilante. TWFing so I did lots of attacks with mystic bolts (acid). Till game ended sadly.

That will be up to your DM. The Vigilante in my group gets no use at all, since we are not too keen on RP.
