Taika would normally be annoyed with the incompetence of the faculty, but at this point it's become almost routine. Instead, she might as well use it to her advantage! Flush with fresh blood, the witch speeds through the halls at not quite superhuman speed, stopping cross-legged atop one particular locker.

"Hey Jen! I told my mother about the class trip, and after a little bit of begging..." Rather than continue, she pulls a black onesie, starts scattered around several sections of it and a black frill toward the bottom not unlike the dress she was wearing now.

Somewhat at Alex's insistence, P'ro'shi had been prepping a spare suit for something like this. I mean, you only need the boring black thing when you need to cover up to reduce resistance. Thus, when you're just going out to go out for some fun like this, nothing wrong with a more interesting number. Like this colorful bikini P'ro'shi selected. Sure, needed to make it by taking the pieces of two different bikinis, due to sizing problems, but it's still looking good! Of course, her own certainty in her own appearance doesn't stop her from making sure some of the others can confirm. With a couple slips of paper, she makes little dupes of the slips with her own and Luna's name on it. Then, she hides it in a curl of her tentacles. As the drawing occurs, she appears very excited, often trying to get an early and close peak. When she spots a relevant chance, she bumps into Ms. Smith as she does move around, to get her to drop the paper she picked. Then, P'ro'shi, ever so helpfully, bends down pick it up, and hand it back to Ms. Smith. Of course, this handed back paper is just P'ro'shi's more favorably picked one, swapped out with a little sleight of hand.

Still, she didn't know. They had been going out for over a month now, and had several good dates. She herself was definitely starting to think about when they might have their first kiss, and she was hoping it would be soon. If they were alone a room for a night and that happened, and one thing lead to another...

Thoughts like that sent Tanya's heart pounding, and her mind racing - half of her thinking she should just sit back and let whatever might happen, happen; but the other half internally screaming to find an excuse to have someone else in their room with them. And unfortunately, she could only think of one person she could talk to about that: Ms. Smith. But what to say?

By the time she worked up the nerve to approach her, they were already in the hotel lobby - but at least she'd thought up a lie that might help her case, assuming Ms. Smith didn't know much about her family. "Uh, Ms. Smith? Do, uh, we have any rooms reserved for, like, more than two people?" she asked. "I-I was just thinkin', I've got kinda a big family in a small house, so I'm used to havin' my sisters around, so I'll probably be more comfortable in a group room like that than the little two-person ones. Assumin' I was with my friends, like Mal and Jen, instead'a people I don't know of course. And, uh, there's probably other people who'd rather have the two-person rooms anyway, right?"

It makes it sound worse than it was, but...I don't think they're bigots - they're in this school, you'd think it'd've come out at some point - but I'm not sure what it is either. I'm not sure if they think I might have weird intentions towards them, or if they have weird intentions towards me, or if they're maybe okay with this kind of thing on general principles but proximity is more uncomfortable, but...I don't make a huge thing of it, publicly I mean, because it might just be a touch of uncomfortable-ness, and forcing the issue could make them defensive about it...and if it turns out it was all in my head or something, I don't wanna be falsely accusing them or anything. I'd rather...I'd rather encourage the politeness, 'cause it's at least stepping in the right direction, but I'm not sure how to do that when I don't know the motivation behind it."

And people would still sleep the same length of time, they'd just go to sleep later and wake up later. And it's not like there's anything inherently unhealthy about waking up early, but rather there are unhealthy side effects of waking up too soon - specifically before your cycle ends. As long as you get a good couple cycles, you should be good to wake up whenever. And then there's the societal benefits of waking up early in the morning for school: I mean, it's basically the only part of high school that actually prepares students adult life outside of the one subject they're going to pursue a career in. Most people are gonna spend their lives working a nine to five somewhere, and getting up early is part of that, and plays into a larger lesson about time management. If students get into a good habit of waking up early in high school, to make sure they don't miss class, they're more likely to maintain that kind of habit when they go to college, or get a job, or whatever they end up doing."
