Cleric of Fame? [Archive] - Giant in the Playground Forums

In a 3.5 game, I want to play a Cleric whose entire goal is to get his name known. Not for any particular reason, other than that's the first thought he had when he gained sentience. The second is that he should protect the weak and innocent.

So, what domains should I choose? Also, what should I put as the "Ideal" in the deity section? (Or whatever it's called that non-god-worshipping clerics worship.)

First, check with your DM to make sure that would be approved. If they're okay with it, I'd suggest the Charm (from the Eberron Campaign Setting) and Herald (from Complete Divine) domains.

Should already be an implied "check with your DM".

Otherwise, I think those are pretty cool domains. I think I'll consider them.
