So I recently found about the feat Exceptional deflection and I would like to be able to counter them in 3.5. For the purpose of this preferably something a Wizard or Cleric could do to counter it and usually shapechanged into a Chronotyrin for double actions. Any suggestions? Also I know that exceptional deflection is 3.0 from ELH but on the campaign I'm playing 3.0 material is allowed when not updated to 3.5

Don't use ranged touch spells. It's that simple.

The user must also be aware of the attack and not flat-footed, so attacking from total concealment or any number of ways to make enemies flat footed would work. Grease is probably the easiest if they don't fly and don't have 5 ranks in balance

If whoever you're targeting doesn't have Infinite Deflection you can also start off with a quickened low-level ranged touch spell and then use your "true" spell after that.
