So in my campaign, the primary PC is a custom class epic level psionic. He leads the group and we have retaken Neverwinter in the 4E timeline and started to rebuild.
The player has started to ask questions about making Neverwinter a psionacracy? Meaning a center for psionic learning and advancement after reading the information on Jhammdath and that empire.
Couple of questions I need input on:
1. Are there magic items that give psionic ability, not just allow them to use the powers?
2. Psionic Mythals? The Jhammdath Empire had devices known as udoxias that allowed any psion the ability to draw on its power, sorta like a Netherese Mythallar used arcane power to power items in range. Any thoughts on that concept?
3. His idea is that after exposure to the psionic "symphony", overtime citizens will receive the "Phrenic" template and become psionic too. Or that they could take the Wild talent feat or the one designed with the udoxias "Udoxian Contact".
Any thoughts here?
