Has anyone played Conan d20?

I am thinking of running Skulls & Shackles but I don't really lIke the idea of a pirate crew tossing magic around so easy. Rather than restricting their classes, I was thinking of the Conan RPG I picked up but never played. It looks like a good, low magic alternative and if I decide that it isn't "pirate"-ish enough, I can add elements from Skull & Bones.

It's a completely different feel than 3.5 or PF.

Forum's fairly inactive currently, but they're responsive to new questions, and there's a depth of material there for an archive trawl.
