Hey all,

I’m looking to compile a small list of base character classes that get some kind of healing ability, aside from prepared casters, psionics and incarnum.

NOT INCLUDING UMD OR ITEM BASED, please. Also, excluding “healing” that relies on targets being undead, constructs or Tomb Tainted Soul.

Bard
Factotum
Paladin (spell-less variant)
Dragon Shaman
Favored Soul
Spirit Shaman
Crusader

Others?

Cheers - T

Monk with "wholeness of others" class feature.

Some of the binder vestiges (I can't remember which) give some healing. Shugenja also have access to the cure spells.

Edit: After a quick look at my book... There's Buer that gives a scaling fast healing and a cure ability (Healing gift) and of course Naberius can cure ability damage.

What about options available to prepared casters, but not their spells? There's several feats and domains that grant non-spell heading to clerics.

All base classes in the game, sorted by native healing ability (https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1U_Ql7b9nNI8y1K_yVgPbyusW_pclTa-q1k-OLMMO_EQ/edit#gid=0&fvid=1370946870)

Well, that's no fun :smallwink:.
Seriously, that's some great work. What is the scale used (I get that 1 is great and 4 is poor) for that chart?

Miniatures Handbook has the Healer class. Simple weapons, non-metal armor only, non-damaging spells in spell list, but lots of healing abilities.

Unfortunately Healer is a prepared caster, which I'm specifically avoiding.

Oh right, those spells are prepared... but those abilities are kind of one of a kind though.

It's just occurring to me that a Healer class that had all of its class features with the exception of spells might be... curious. Not fit for PC consumption, I think, but possibly useful for NPCs.
