While looking for a monster for an encounter, I found the Irnakurse Fleshwarp (http://paizo.com/pathfinderRPG/prd/bestiary4/fleshwarp.html#fleshwarp-irnakurse). It is tematically right and at the CR I need, but according to both my printed bestiary and the online stats, it has a +8 to its attacks which seems very weak for a CR 9 monster. Looking at other stats it looks that it should have ~+13 (+7 BAB, +7 Str 24, -1 large size). Should I fix that when playing it? Do you see any reason why the to-hit bonus should be what it is that I've missed?

Yep the attack bonus makes no sense. BAB and STR don't add up, and it has a weapon focus in there as well.

Just be careful about what your party can take on. It has 5 hits on a full attack, 4 of which stun against will and have 15' range.

I think the 8 is a typo. If you look at the full line

bite +8 14 (1d8+7), 4 tentacles +8 (1d6+3 plus mind lash)

And, looking at it's +7 Str, +7 BAB, -1 size, and Weapon Focus (albeit with the wrong weapon), you get +14. This then also gives 7+7-1-5 for the tentacle secondary naturals. aka, +8.

Basically, it has +14 to hit with the bite, and the Weapon Focus feat was applied to the bite, not the tentacles

EDIT: oh, and being very silly, by RAW it somehow has a +814 to hit. Which is, of course, silly completely reasonable.

Opening it up in Hero Lab...
On the weapon tab:

Bite (Irnakurse)
+13, 1d8+7
((+7 BAB, +7 STR, -1 SZ))

Rend x2 (Irnakurse)
.. 2d6+10; 3 tentacles 3d6+10; 4 tentacles 4d6+10

Tentacle x4 (Inakurse)
+9/+9/+9/+9 1d6+3 plus mind lash
((+7 BAB, +7 STR, -1 SZ, -5 Secondary Natural Attack, +1 Weapon Focus))

It's unarmed strike (that is listed for everything in HL) is
+13/+8 for 1d4+7 nonlethal.
((+7 BAB, +7 STR, -1 SZ))

Of course, it still has +8 to hit, because the bite is just bull****. 1d8+7, no riders.
