I return to the boards once more, in search for your collective knowledge...
I took the single cleric class mostly in order to get the turning ability to use to fuel smite and holy warrior for the ordained champion.
1) if I understand it correctly, this build means I get the knowledge of
9 orisons and
6 first level spells, with 6 spell slots for the orisons and 6+CHA for the first level spells
However, I also get full knowledge of all orisons and first level spells because cleric, for which I have, respectively, 3 and 1+1 (+WIS)
So..does that mean that since I know them anyway, I can cast all 1level spells with my favored soul slots? Can I do this only on the ones I have also prepared for my uses as a cleric? Or should the favored soul in me just ignore the fact that in theory I do have access to every first level spell? I'm guessing it's the latter, but it seems counterintuitive
2) ordained champion allows me to pic one of the other classes to gain more spells.. The obvious choice is favored soul.
It also stacks with turning abilities.. Which are from cleric.
Can I "split" the upgrades this way? I'm guessing I should be able to
3) my choice of divinity is Tyr, who grants me 2 more domains beyond war, which I get as a bonus from ordained champion.
I'm inclined to take retribution for the nifty domain power. My second choice would be knowledge, but the power is less useful. I already get most knowledges as class ability and don't have nearly enough ability points to cover them all adequately.. The rest of the domain power is only mildly of use, because I only get the first level domain spells anyway.
I am therefore considering swapping the domain power out for a fighter feat, as per the ordained champion class feature "combat feats".
Does that mean I swap out the +1 on knowledge spells, or also the fact that all knowledges are class skills? Not that it changes much, but just to know. (come to think of it, there might be a domain available with a better first level spell and an equally dumpable power.)
I might have more questions later, and thank you in advance for the assistance.
