just wondering how you would build a WWE wrestler style build in d and d 3.5?

Allowed books: PH1 and 2, DM 1 and 2, Monster manual 1-5, Complete-all, Stormwrack, Sandstorm, Frostburn and Dungoenscape, Races of stone, destiny and wild,

No Dragon mag, no homebrew. no campaign specific.

:) Cant wait to see what you all come up with.

WWE? Well, to me that says Exemplar with a focus on Perform (Wrestling), to be honest. Five levels of that lets you use any skill check to diplomize people, basically; hit a high enough DC and your fans will become fanatics...

that covers the promo speech side of things for sure:) what base class physically though? other feats?

Brawler most plausible. Performing Combatant will allow you to go "NOW YOU WILL PAAAAY!" and actually get performance benefits from it. Brawler for grappling and maneuvers, performance feats to blow **** up.

Believe it or not, there was a d20 WWE game called Know Your Role. Spoony did a video about it:

WWE is all acting so the physical side is included as an Exemplar of Perform(Wrestling). They would probably be rubbish in an actual fight, though probably have more strength and Con than the average Expert. The promo speeches would be a different perform likely with less focus, Oratory would work.

If you want actual wrestling, a grapple build.

If you wanted MMA style, unarmed damage focus with tripping and probably a minor in grapple.

If you wanted to mimic the WWE acting as actual combat, trip and bull rush focus would be best, Dungeoncrasher/Knockback/Knockdown would be most effective for that as far as damage.

Any character with Improved Unarmed Strike, Improved Grapple, and a few ranks in Bluff, Perform (acting), Profession (wrestler), and maybe Diplomacy or Intimidate. The only important ability scores are Strength and Charisma, although you probably don't want a sub-par Intelligence score because you're mainly a skill-based character.

what do you all think of reaping mauler for breaking grapple attempts etc? or spring attack for drop kick flavor? maybe a dip into Monk?
