Hey all,

I"m looking for some interesting templates that add SLAs to a creature. It's for a monster/NPC, so LA is irrelevant.

So far I've looked at:

Half-Celestial
Half-farspawn
Half-Fey
Half-Fiend
Unholy Scion

I'm sure there's a ton I've missed?

Phrenic and Spell-Stitched spring to mind. Phrenic in particular is quite good.

Demilich, Evolved Undead, Greenbound, Half-Elemental, Half-Illithid, Half-Janni, Madborn, Mirage Mullah, Mistling, Phrenic, Primordial Giant, Quorbound, Saint, Shadow, Shadow-Walker, Spellstitched, Ti-Khana, Unholy Scion, Woodling, and Worm That Walks.

Paragon creatures get SLAs.

Consider using symbionts, They all tend to add +0,+1, or +2 at most to CR. You can get suggestion and dominate person with a mind leech.

Not all Half-Fiends are the same: for example, there was Alu-Demon (Dragon #355), and Lemorian (Dungeon #143 and 146); article (Half)-Fiendish Variety (http://archive.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/we/20060630x&page=1) tells about how to create a non-standard Half-Fiends depending on the fiend-parent, and More (Half-)Fiendish Variety (http://archive.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/eo/20070209a) give examples of devilish Half-Fiends

Chosen of Mystra (Forgotten Realms Campaign Setting)
Magister (Magic of Faerûn)
Shade (Races of Faerûn)
Shadow-Walker (Unapproachable East)

Templates in Elder Evils:
Brood Spawn
Progeny of Ragnorra

Terror Vampire (Dragon #348) also gets some SLAs

Kaiju template in Dragon #289) - one of SA options is "Spell-Like Ability"

Demon Lord (Dragon #359) - a bit of "nuclear option" for Evil NPC templates: it gives, among other things, at will Astral Projection and Shapechange with CL 20 (and +1 CL for every 3 CR above 18, but no more than 25)
