So this classic spell is missing from 5e, probably because it's difficult to balance a blindness AoE that also purges invisibility and may not require concentration.

Anybody home brewed their own versions of it?

Just rename Faerie Fire? No blindness but grants advantage to your teammates. So close enough.

Hmmm.... I'd consider 3rd level with concentration for aoe blindness and null-invisibility.

I did a version of it a while back. It's on page 12 in here (https://www.dropbox.com/s/r5ii4j22vebleu7/Spells%20with%20Lists.pdf?dl=0). It's pretty much what Eragon imagined.
