I'm tickled by a gift I've found and am curious what everyone else is pleased to be giving this year.

My cousins have a couple of guinea pigs whom my aunt hates. She joked over Thanksgiving that they're eaten in certain cultures and we should feel free.

So I'm getting her this (https://www.amazon.com/Guinea-Pig-Breakfast-Recipe-Book-ebook/dp/B00CYKAOWI).

What about ya'll?

I'm going to get my mom a copy of "The A-Maze-ing Labyrinth" because we played that a lot when I was young.

Going to get my sister... Nothing? Not sure yet. Probably nothing.

Going to get myself a set of silver coins. Prolly some dice, because I always buy dice.

I'm getting my friend the first issue of Saga by Brian K. Vaughn and Fiona Staples. It perfectly illustrates how over-the-top worldbuilding can go horribly right, and everyone should at least leaf through it for the phenomenal art.

I'm getting my 9 year old niece the SGHS Harley Quinn 12" doll as well as WW and her invisible jet. HQ was on her wish list.

Heh, I love that game. I can't believe they're still releasing new editions of it.

Can't point out one specific item, but the few presents I have bought are all either second hand or something new I found at a second hand shop. I have also reused wrapping paper from last year. Ethical Christmas wooo

My daughter is decorating her room with a Paris theme. A do-worker who is an interior decorator suggested that I get her a magazine and/or book rack for the wall and then get some books on Paris to put inside.

I'm getting my dad a Boba Fett beer stein. He collects beer steins. And I'm getting my brother-in-law a Packers - themed garden gnome. I wonder how he'll race to that one. :p

I'm going to get my parents luxurious recycled stearine-prepared pine cone fire starters (http://www.naturkompaniet.se/braskotten-kotten). It's a really oddball present and a double in-joke, so I can't stop loving it! http://i.imgur.com/haudcUB.png

My parents tend to keep really dull knives, because they never really paid attention to maintaining their knives until relatively recently. It's gotten to the point where I tried cutting limes for margaritas over Thanksgiving, and I basically had to stab with the point and slice downwards, which isn't right. I carve wood on the sides, and this isn't how a knife is supposed to be.

So, I got my parents a high-end steel knife, so that they can actually have practice with a sharp knife. I specifically got a VG-10 steel knife to get something that'll last them a while. Hopefully, I can actually get them a good quality knife set for their anniversary, but I don't want them to switch from using dull knives to sharp ones instantly.
