Sounds fun...Assuming my being the first poster means I'm the first to arrive, I'll begin experimenting with magical laws, taking my first level in wizard.
I believe I have an INT of at least 16, so I will have a decent spellcasting ability...If I am in the city version or the town, I will study under the wizards already present, then surpass them by defeating safely all monsters that threaten the village. After I am well-established, perhaps as the village head(at least unofficially), I will begin to exploit nearby resources to expand the village and provide plentiful opportunities for the coming Playgrounders.
